Privacy Policy

Our accounting offices have separate obligations, both as subcontractors and as the parties responsible for processing the personal data you have entrusted to them, for the use of their services and for safeguarding the data stored in their IT infrastructure as well as that of their own subcontractors.

The KVDN and KMDS teams are committed to the following: 

  • the collection of only the information that is strictly necessary in order to render the services requested
  • only sharing your personal data with third parties within the framework of carrying out legal obligations
  • protecting and processing your personal data with a higher level of security than that required by the GDPR
  • only using your personal data to carry out the accounting, tax, legal and social orders you have entrusted to us
  • detecting and combating all forms of fraud in the event of an abuse of power regarding your identity, using incorrect information

The role of Data Protection Officer (DPO) at KVDN and KMDS is filled by Patrick De Putter, Managing & Ethics Partner, who guarantees the conformity of the accounting offices'activities when it comes to data processing.
He has the necessary means to carry out his role without a conflict of interests with regard to the obligations and practices which KVDN and KMDS must apply to the protection of personal data.

We process and store personal data only for the time required to achieve the purpose of our order or within the legal time limits applicable to the storage of documents.

If the order should be discontinued, all data in our possession will be transferred both to the client and to the party taking over the project; such data will no longer be used for any processing at KVDN or KMDS.
For safety reasons, they will still be archived for a period of 12 months before being destroyed.
This period may be shortened by sending a simple request to the DPO.
